Security experts have called for Australian organisations to update their security and privacy policies as they invite customers to access more loyalty card services online.

Meanwhile, the Australian Privacy Foundation has slammed the Federal Government's proposed amendments to privacy legislation as a "lost opportunity" in improving areas such as credit reporting practices and protection from data off-shoring.
