EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

Today, we look at data breaches at Yahoo! Voices and Aussie surfwear icon Billabong. Hackers stole clear text passwords from both sites and posted them online.

Meanwhile, federal policing information agency CrimTrac is urgently seeking a consultant to inform the development of a national identity management strategy. We look at its requirements and plans.
