Huawei has been blocked from bidding for NBN work over security fears, a move that a UNSW academic and Greens Senator Scott Ludlam have described as "prudent".

According to former foreign minister and Huawei board member Alexander Downer, on the other hand, suggestions that Huawei is somehow involved in cyber warfare are "completely absurd".

What do you think?
