EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

The Australian Tax Office has blocked more than $33 million worth of fraudulent returns in the four months since the end of the financial year. Identity thieves used little more than basic user information to lodge the claims.

And Julia Gillard has assumed responsibility for the cyber security policy in a wide-ranging cabinet reshuffle announced today.

Have a great day,

-- James Hutchinson
