EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

The Federal Government's estimated spend of around $4 billion a year on IT will run under a new set of rules. We go through the major changes.

Also, the latest Federal audit report on agency IT controls for finance systems makes interesting reading. In addition to the usual "must improve" flavour of the report, it offers confirmation of SAP's dominance of Government finance systems.
