EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

"Interesting times for Gov IT" is the last thing any government official wants to hear.

It's been interesting times indeed in Victoria - the industry backlash over the eServices panel forced the IT Minister to review membership of the panel, double its size and incorporate industry input in its future development.

There are lessons here for AGIMO and its proposed rationalisation of the WISP IT services panel, which is due to be announced before the end of this year: take care and avoid surprises where possible!
