EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

Digital Post Australia has signed three years' worth of co-location space at two Macquarie Telecom facilities to underpin its digital mail service. The move is in stark contrast to rival Australia Post, which adopted a Telstra-hosted cloud infrastructure for its own.

And Western Australian engineering firm Calibre has moved to adopt a 'business-as-a-service' approach under its 15-part cloud vision. It is in negotiations with Telstra, IBM and HP to overhaul and off-load its systems into cloud infrastructure.
