Good afternoon,

Microsoft sent out a strange press release today. Cloud computing, the company said, will not displace jobs, but create them.

But as Ry Crozier points out in today's lead story, the Microsoft-sponsored study actually reveals that cloud computing reduces IT jobs, especially in Australia.

Microsoft hosts Office365 in Singapore and backs it up in Hong Kong. Whoever thought it a smart PR move to promote the service as a creator of jobs must take us all for fools. What's your take?
