EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

Today Liz Tay previews a set of data management guides being prepared by financial services regulator APRA, which are likely to impact those in the banking and finance sector planning to adopt cloud computing services.

On the subject of financial services, we have a photo tour of a container data centre built to service a Danish bank.

I also ask whether public cloud providers need to be more transparent when it comes to price, incident response and location of services. I'm keen to hear your opinion.
