As college students hit the university bookstores over the next couple of weeks signaling their return to campus, IT security workers may want to consider a new comprehensive anti-malware guide from the folks at the Anti-Virus Information Exchange Network (AVIEN).
The bloggers at McAfee Avert Labs and Sophos are saying good things about the book, titled “AVIEN Malware Defense Guide.”
AVIEN includes hundreds of members from around the world - many of whom work as security professionals for the top global businesses.
So considering all of those varied minds, the book probably contains a plethora of helpful hints.
But don’t expect to bang it out in one night. The textbook runs more than 500 pages.
