EDITOR'S NOTE

Good Afternoon,

Telstra made a lot of noise about its investment in the local market today - with the official launch of its T-Suite software as a service portal and the roll-out of new mobile base stations and exchange upgrades in regional Australia.

Telstra chose to flex its engineering muscle at a politically-charged time, as its competitors eagerly await a decision on who will win the troubled NBN tender.

T-Suite meanwhile, was launched with local software developers on hand, but no word on when we'll see Microsoft's Office sold on a rental basis.
