Good morning,

The shared services provider for five Victorian State Government departments has denied reports that it has issues with its back-up procedures.

CenITex says it "generally" runs differential backups daily and full backups weekly.

Meanwhile there have been media reports of unrelated - but systemic - issues in the Victoria Police department's IT systems. Seems more scrutiny of state IT systems is on the way...
