EDITOR'S NOTE

An Aussie IT worker has stumbled on a major credit card leak that has exposed card numbers, CCVs, and name and address details for some 19,000 people.

It appears a number of retail sites in the UK and US used a payment gateway that has gone belly-up - but not before exposing all the details.

We can confirm Aussies are among those affected. Lets hope the credit card companies act fast, although the horse may have truly bolted.
