EDITOR'S NOTE

Good Afternoon,

As of posting this edition, the Wikipedia entry of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) contains a link to a web site banned by the regulator's own blacklist.

The link was inserted by campaigners attempting to show the complexities of censoring of Internet sites.

It is unlikely to be the last test ACMA will face as Senator Conroy expands the type of content intended in the Government's proposed Internet filtering scheme.

Also, entries are now open in the inaugural Secure Computing magazine/AusCERT awards. Entries here.
