EDITOR'S NOTE

Good Afternoon,

Cisco Systems rolled out the big guns today for its 'Unified Computing' launch - with everyone from VMware, Microsoft, Intel, EMC, BMC and Accenture on hand to talk up its strategy.

With Cisco already having delivered several Nexus line of switches, its unified fabric and fabric extender, today's announcement boils down to the launch of Cisco blade servers - without any details of the kit being available.

We do note however, that several key Australian partners are already certified to roll out these products (see our story on Alphawest and Dimension Data).
