EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

The ACCC had a sobering message for telcos at the ATUG conference on Friday - shape up or we'll fine you.

He said Australia's largest four telcos sit at numbers 1, 3, 7 and 9 in the top ten companies complained about in Australia. Ouch.

We know there's been a crackdown on the premium SMS sector of late but the ACCC wanted telcos to know they can't wash their hands even of that issue.
