Good morning,

It looks like ICT has a new 'fan' within Federal parliament.

Finance minister Lindsay Tanner yesterday outlined a bunch of technologies, including the recently implemented Telepresence system, as examples of how the Government intends to use technology to improve productivity.

Hearing our publicly elected officials speak so highly of tech will undoubtedly please a lot of industry types. Leads one to think we'll be seeing a lot more of Mr. Tanner on the ICT industry speaking circuit...
