EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

As another week draws to a close, we sat down with the IT manager at Sydney Turf Club and had a long chat about some of their plans.

They're a pretty innovative IT shop with a long history of innovation. They were pioneers of digital photo finish technology and mobile barriers, among other things.

Now the club is planning a new data centre at its flagship Rosehill racecourse and a major upgrade of its IP voice network. Good to see Aussie businesses forging ahead with big tech projects.
