Good afternoon,

It was probably one of the worst-kept secrets of Mobile World Congress that Telstra would make an announcement about its 21Mbps Next G upgrade.

The network has been running in some capacity since December but today is the first time a modem/card has been available to let customers take advantage of the speed increase.

You'll find two stories below - one from our MWC correspondent Brett Winterford and a second one from the local launch that confirms Telstra is doing more than eyeing 42Mbps enhancements.
