EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

In the wake of yesterday's 3/Vodafone announcement, 3G coverage areas are back on the radar.

But this isn't just a carrier discussion. The network equipment vendor ip.access is obviously hoping people will take the matter into their own hands and install a picocell in their building to improve network connectivity.

Looks like the picocell could be bundled with enterprise connections or the like. In any event, trials are said to be underway.
