Good afternoon,

It's a move that will no doubt raise the ire of sysadmins everywhere - Microsoft is planning to remove the ability to block Windows service pack auto updates.

It's a feature that was introduced to let administrators test service packs for compatibility and stability issues before rolling them out to users.

Vista is the first OS to be affected, but XP is next on the list. You can read more about the changes below.
