EDITOR'S NOTE

Good afternoon,

You might recall this morning we ran a piece from Symantec urging banks to request proof of identity that isn't easily searchable on the web.

This afternoon, a separate survey of banks reveals many don't use encrypted paths to send confidential data to customers, partners and service providers.

Make of it what you will (it is a survey after all) but do feel free to let us know what you think.
