Good morning,

As if we needed any reminder of the perceived buoyancy in the data centre space, it appears Cisco is now shaping to enter it on the server front in partnership with VMware.

The reports are coming out of the NY Times citing sources - no doubt some of the more traditional server players will watch this with interest.

Also on the hardware front, Fujitsu has taken the wraps off a PC it claims consumes no power in standby mode. More details at Cebit apparently, although you can already get the tech specs off the website.
