EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

The SANS institute, together with a number of US government and private sector firms, has published a consolidated list of what it claims to be the top 25 most dangerous programming errors, and how to fix them.

It is claimed that not only are these errors not well understood by programmers but also that their avoidance isn't part of computer science curricula and even software testers aren't really aware of them either.

Could be a concern since SANS claim the vulnerabilities led to over 1.5 million web site security breaches last year alone.

The link to the 25 is in the article - have a read and see what you think.
