EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning everyone,

The long-running feud between Oracle and SAP over the TomorrowNow acquisition is moving into more dangerous territory - even more so than the corporate espionage that Oracle has accused its rival of.

SAP's latest twist in buying TomorrowNow - which supports two Oracle solutions - is demanding Oracle conduct ediscovery on the profitability of the supported lines so it can determine how many customers potentially churned to SAP due to the alleged espionage.

Obviously that data will also tell SAP just how profitable its acquisition can be - and open that data to other players in the market, too - a path Oracle isn't keen to pursue.

This case continues to be one to watch...
