EDITOR'S NOTE

Afternoon everyone,

The first indications of the fallout from the US$1 billion Satyam scandal are starting to materialise.

One of the outsourcer's largest local clients, Qantas, has told us the risk is currently 'manageable' but that they have alternatives ready if Satyam can't service them.

We've asked several other large customers for their thoughts too. One suspects that a number of outsourcers are also rubbing their hands together at the thought of picking up some big business contracts if Satyam was to run into permanent business trouble.

We'll keep you updated as the story develops.
