EDITOR'S NOTE

Good morning,

In our second-last edition for the year, we kick off with a piece on how data centre transformation is one of the few areas that will attract investment next year.

The finding is from a HP survey, but is a validation for a lot of the stuff we've been talking about for months now.

Ask pretty much any data centre manager locally and they'll tell you about consolidation initiatives, new racks, cooling tech they're evaluating... Fujitsu, Macquarie Telecom, manageNET, you name it - they're all doing it.

2009 is certainly shaping up to be the year of the data centre - but do let us know what you think.
