EDITOR'S NOTE

Overseas, Scott Cleland has caused a stir by accusing Google of using 21 times more bandwidth than it pays for. But can Cleland be trusted? And Yahoo! says its Build Your Own Search service is going better than expected. But who expected it to do well?
