Good morning,

Well, at least for some. For others, it's an evening (or weekend) for a spot of patch management, with security fixes released for both Java and various VMware offerings - including ESX.

The Java patch is said to cover some 18 unlisted flaws - and with US CERT saying 'patch now', the potential for exploits are obviously a concern.

There's also a survey on the front-end claiming 98 per cent of PCs are vulnerable - albeit says a vendor who provides scanning tools. Self-interest in that particular finding? Who would've thought...
