Headlines
Good afternoon,

Business Objects’ Australian subsidiary has bitten back at various statements made by rival data transformation technology company, Informatica, claiming that users will not be able to update their software after a lawsuit ruled that Business Objects must cease shipping a product that infringed on Informatica’s patents.

In the US, after two months of talks with Nortel, private telco equipment provider, Avaya, has instead been bought by a number of US-based investment firms for US$8.2 billion (A$9.7 billion).
