Headlines
Good morning,

Business users want more innovative software faster and will bypass the IT department if necessary to get it. Executives of both business and IT departments define innovation as better integration and usability, more so than whiz-bang features. And software costs? For the first time in years, they're not a leading concern for companies.

Also, McAfee's stock price had one of the largest upward swings last week of the Disruptive Technology Portfolio companies, rising 10.3 percent after the Internet security provider reported relatively strong results for its first quarter. With revenue of US$314 million and earnings per share of 44 cents, it came in well ahead of consensus estimates of US$291 million and US34 cents.
