This afternoon, the US military said it will block worldwide access to 13 Web sites because they strain network capabilities and present operational risks.

Also making news, secure content and application vendor Blue Coat Systems announced its K9 Web Protection product has been accredited as an Internet Industry Association (IIA) Family Friendly Filter.
