This afternoon, Microsoft is to form a partnership with Red Hat to improve the interoperability of Windows and Linux, according to Tom Robertson, Microsoft's general manager of interoperability and standards.

Also making news, Microsoft has also posted SQL Server 2005 SP 2, an essential component for successfully running linking Vista with customer databases.
