This morning, digital rights management (DRM) and the upcoming General Public Licence (GPL) version 3 are generating a heated debate within the open source communities, but do represent any real issues, the creator of Linux has argued.

Also making news, Symantec researcher Eric Chien has argued that if Apple’s iPhone remains a closed device then the risk of it becoming infected by security threats becomes orders of magnitude lower.
