Welcome to this mornings iTnewswire,

Cybertrust has launched its Partner Security Program, a web-based service for companies to assess and manage the security levels of their suppliers, customers and other associates which connect to their corporate network.

Still on security, Trend Micro has unveiled its InterCloud Security Service, which it claims can identify botnet activity and offer customers the ability to quarantine and clean bot-infected PCs.

Intel has promised to allow third party hardware vendors two new ways to plug into its processors, which could enable a new market of application accelerators.

Most experts and analysts believe that as the Internet spreads globally, its impact on people's lives will spawn a new group of terrorists who commit violent acts against technology, a recent survey shows.

UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan has joined Intel board chairman Craig Barrett at the United Nations to promote the ways in which technology can improve education, healthcare, economic development and governance.

Will tech rage lead us to a Mad Maxesque future? How secure are your business partners? Why not let us your thoughts.
