Hello,

In this afternoon’s iTnewswire we read that the US has urged foreign governments to think twice before interfering with popular new (US) technologies. At the same time it has said that it should continue to dominate ownership of the Internet domain naming system.

Mobile phone games makers say that despite a huge offering they are struggling with getting found as phone browsers are confusing, space constrained and hard to navigate.

In the hardware market, Microsoft reckons consumers will be happy to fork out $US250 for its new wireless keyboard and mouse while Acer thinks having a Yahoo toolbar preinstalled on its PCs will entice end-users.

So, is it time the US gave up its monopoly on the Internet? Do you find downloading content to your phone cumbersome? Why not email iTnews and tell us.
