This afternoon, Hewlett-Packard said Thursday that a shareholder lawsuit accusing its chief executive and several directors of a insider trading related to its boardroom leak probe was "baseless."

Also making news, Microsoft expects software piracy to ease with the introduction of its new Windows Vista operating system and Office 2007 software suite, chief executive Steve Ballmer has said.
