This afternoon, Microsoft Australia has settled its legal action against four Victorian computer businesses , Panda Computer, JSN Computers, PC Ideas, and Ozsmartstore, a company that operates through Ebay.

Also making news, News' MySpace has licensed technology from Gracenote designed to stop users from posting unauthorised copyrighted music on its website.
