Welcome to the afternoon edition of the iTnewswire.

This afternoon, YouTube has removed from its website nearly 30,000 videos that Japan's entertainment industry said contained copyrighted material.

Noted security analyst Joanna Rutkowska, who this summer demonstrated attack tactics that would get around Windows Vista's new anti-rootkit protection, has said that the newest build of the OS now blocks that exploit route.

The Internet Industry Association (IAA) will be offering end-users free trial of anti-spyware, anti-virus and anti-spam products as part of its GetNetSafe scheme launched today.

Risk taking could be the key to successful entrepreneurship, according to a study released on Friday by Northeastern University's School of Technological Entrepreneurship.

A team of US scientists claims to have demonstrated the world's first working "invisibility cloak".

Is this the beginning of the end for YouTube? Is risk the heart of business? Mail your comments.
