Weblog The Drudge Report claims to have contacted one star who launched a tirade of abuse in Hilton's direction. Some reports are suggesting FBI is launching an investigation into the alleged hack that appears to have occurred on Paris Hilton's T-Mobile Sidekick address book.
The majority of celebrities listed have either turned their phones off, switched numbers or rapidly found their mailboxes full. SC attempted to contact T-Mobile but the wireless operator was unavailable for comment.
As well as Hilton's address book the hackers also published details of her private notes that include details of her movements.
The news arrives days after SC reported T-Mobile hacker Nicholas Lee Jacobsen pleaded guilty to hacking into the German firm's US network. 22 year old Jacobsen viewed the personal information of hundreds of T-Mobile users, including one of the Secret Service agents who was tracking him.
