iTnews to uncover cloud computing contracts

I am excited to announce that iTnews will be hosting an event in April that will dissect the cloud computing contracts of all the major providers, using the expert advice of one of the world’s best brains on the legal implications of the new business model.

The event – titled ‘Cloud Cover’ – will be held over breakfast at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney on April 5, and will feature a presentation by Mark Vincent, partner at Truman Hoyle, who will be releasing a whitepaper exploring cloud computing contracts commissioned by iTnews.

Vincent is Australia’s legal guru when it comes to cloud computing – if not one of the more notable brains on the subject globally. He’s spoken at many a conference but has been saving up his most detailed analysis specifically for iTnews readers.

Vincent has studied the contracts of SaaS providers such as Google Apps and Salesforce.com, platforms like Microsoft Azure, and pure infrastructure plays such as Amazon Web Services and a host of local providers.
