Starts in August.

A NSW cave system visited by 200,000 tourists a year is expanding its range of audio guides to support the Star Trek language, Klingon.

Jenolan Caves offers Klingon audio tour

The Nettle Cave tour in Klingon will be available from August 22 on a digital audio device made by Acoustiguide. The story was first reported by ABC News.

The cave operators engaged the services of two "Klingon scholars" from the US last month, who recorded the audio tour in a Sydney studio.

They claimed it was the "first genuine tour available on Planet Earth for Klingon speakers."

"In the Star Trek universe, Jenolan Caves was first immortalised in the Next Generation episode ‘Relics', through the naming of a ‘Sydney Class' Starship - the USS Jenolan," the operators said in a statement.
