The new company, KAZ Computer Services Hongkong, will deliver selective outsourced services at a fixed price to clients in the region. It will kick off with 25 staff and expects to grow steadily as the business expands, KAZ said in a statement.

Big local services outfit KAZ Computer Services has opened its Hong Kong operation that will serve as the company's regional headquarters for North East Asia and greater China.

The company is a joint venture between KAZ Group and Honkers-based Tradelink Electronic Commerce Ltd.

Invest Hong Kong - a region government department tasked with attractive foreign investment - had assisted KAZ's move into Hong Kong. Its associate director-general of investment promotion, John Rutherford was the guest of honour at the launch.
