ISPs have called for more meaningful discussion with Federal Government agencies to determine exactly what data authorities hope to capture and hold under a proposed data retention regime.

And Huawei has urged the Government to tread carefully on some of its national security reforms, amid fears it could see the vendor blocked from future local work.
