EDITOR'S NOTE

Greetings,

Queensland has budgeted for email, payroll and HR systems upgrades and a new ICT Strategic Procurement scheme that may eventually replace shared service provider CITEC.

The State Government also cut some 14,000 public service jobs, including 140 from Queensland Health's IT unit. Stay tuned for our analysis of the changes this week.
