Ausco Modular to hire first CIO

New IT lead for building hire business.

Mobile building provider Ausco Modular is on the hunt for its inaugural chief information officer.

The company, which has about 12,000 buildings for hire by the likes of mining and construction firms, lodged advertisements for the newly-created role yesterday.

The CIO is expected to re-engineer business processes and identify opportunities to increase reliance on web-based technologies, among other requirements.

Applications for the role close May 27.

The previous technology head at Ausco was the company's IT manager.
