Adobe has upgraded its Indigo Pacific partnership in a move that will help Indigo Pacific deploy locally-developed offerings across Asia-Pacific.

Hugh Millikin, chief executive at Indigo Pacific, said in a statement that the Australia-based reseller had signed up as a tier one Adobe partner for the Asia-Pacific region.

"The agreement with Adobe enables Indigo Pacific to deploy locally developed solutions across the region. This was previously difficult because Indigo Pacific held different levels of agreements in different countries," he said.

Indigo Pacific supplied and deployed electronic forms, document generation, workflow and process management offerings to enterprises in Australia, North America and Asia, the reseller said in a statement.

The reseller started working with Adobe in 2002 after that vendor bought its main partner, JetForm. Adobe's other tier one partners include global giants IBM and Accenture.

Millikin said the reseller was a "much smaller" company. "Our success has been our ability to foster very close relationships with our customers," he said.

Craig Tegel, managing director at Adobe, said Indigo Pacific knew how to support enterprise customers translating paper processes into digital documents.

"This knowledge has helped us improve our customer base dramatically since we began our partnership in 2002," Tegel said.
