Hexip is a Battleships game with a twist. Instead of using a square, the game is played on a hexagonal board.

Other than the shape of the playing area, the game remains the same as Battleships. Simply mark the hexagonal cells you think contain ships in the fleet, and then finalise the cells to discover whether or not you are right.

There are three possible types of ship, each taking up different numbers of cells: Submarines (one), Destroyers (two) and Cruisers (three).

Choose between playing as a Cadet or Captain, with the Captain having to play on a bigger ocean with a bigger fleet. Whichever you choose, each game has four difficulty levels.

Should you need to, it's possible to ask the Admiral for a hint.
