Although it was made 20 years ago, the film Tron tends to stick in the mind, particularly the memorable lightcycle deathmatches. Armagetron lets you play just that game.

In the lightcycle matches, two riders on cycles made of light sped around a board imprinted with a grid pattern. As the cycles move, they draw lines in the grid, which can?t be crossed. If you cross a line, you explode, and the last person left wins the game. Armagetron is much the same, allowing you to play with up to four people on one computer, or play by yourself against computer-generated opponents. You can also play with people over a local network or the internet.
