Verdict: A great antivirus and antispyware program at no cost
System Requirements:Any device running Palm OS 2.0 or later; a system extension manager, such as X-Master.
On the newer Palm devices (Palm IIIx, Palm V series) dark pixels light up when the backlight is activated, while the lighter pixels remain dark.
Light Hack allows this to happen on older Palm devices (Palm III and older).
It has the opposite effect on the newer Palm devices, however: the light pixels are lit up, while the dark pixels remain dark. Depending on your preference, this can make things a little clearer on-screen.
If you hold down the power key while dragging the stylus from the Graffiti area to the top half of the screen, you can switch between the two lighting modes - an essential feature, as different applications can require different lighting conditions.
Note: You will need a Hack Manager such as the excellent X-Master to use this application.
